Viceland will begin broadcasting in the Netherlands and Belgium on March 1, with Liberty Global’s cable platform Ziggo carrying the channel in the former and Telenet in the latter.

It will launch with local versions of Viceland Census, a factual series in which young people from across the country give their opinions on topics including politics, drugs, sex, love, money and climate change.

Vice tapped former Talpa Media and Twitter exec Stefan Tieleman as general manager of Viceland in Benelux ahead of the TV channel’s launch in the region.

Other shows in the schedule include Gaycation, Noisey and F*ck That’s Delicious, which originated on Vice in the US.

Viceland launched in the US and Canada in February 2016 and has since been rolled out in the UK, Ireland, France, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

A deal in Africa was confirmed recently, marking the latest in a number of expected international arrangements that aim to make Viceland content available in 51 territories by the end of 2017.
