Viacom Italy goes to movies

US media giant Viacom has secured movie magazine shows from French producer-distributor Prime Entertainment Group for its MTV channel in Italy.

Viacom Italy has picked up 148 episodes of Prime productions, including movie star bio series Close Up (91×26’), Hollywood News Feed (31×15’) and cinema programme Zoom In (11×6’30”).

Documentary series Director’s Short Cut (200×4’) has also been taken by the channel.

Last week, Prime secured a similar deal with Viacom’s MTV channels in Russia and Spain, among other territories.
