Veteran Weir builds Twin Bridge

Former Warner Bros exec Andy Weir has launched a distribution company to represent content from independent producers, after leaving US Hispanic broadcaster Estrella TV.

Twin Bridge Media’s slate includes lifestyle, music, independent film and reality TV programming, such as Aim TV’s Raw Travel and S&J Media Group’s Mar Jennings Home & Garden.

Weir was most recently senior VP of content distribution for Estrella TV, where he helped develop the network’s global distribution division.

Prior to that, he was president at Northstar Media, the content distribution company he co-founded that sold shows to broadcasters including PBS, Fox and the BBC. Before that he spent 15 years working for Warner Bros Domestic Television.
