USA Network’s head of alternative programming Jessica Sebastian is leaving the US cable network to join production group ITV America.

Sebastian has been named senior VP of development at ITV Entertainment, a division of ITV America, C21 can reveal. She will report to David Eilenberg, ITV Entertainment’s president.

In the role, she will spearhead all development, creating talent-driven series and formats across a range of unscripted genres.

The news comes after C21 reported yesterday that Sebastian’s boss, Jackie de Crinis, would be stepping down as USA Network’s exec VP of original programming. De Crinis has agreed an overall deal at Universal Cable Productions, a sister company under the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment umbrella.

A spokeswoman for USA Network told C21 that Sebastian would not be replaced.

“There is a new structure within the NBCUniversal Cable networks portfolio where the development and current programming of all scripted content for USA, Syfy, E! and Bravo is now managed under one team,” she said. “Also, Syfy and USA are now led by one network president [Chris McCumber] and the alternative programming for USA and Syfy is handled by one team.”

Sebastian joined USA Network as VP of unscripted series in January last year, reporting to de Crinis and charged with helping the predominately drama-focused net push further into non-fiction. At the channel, she oversaw production on shows including Chrisley Knows Best and First Impressions.

Before joining USA, she was VP of development at IAC-backed production house Electus, exec producing shows such as TruTV’s Breaking Greenville and Nat Geo’s Southern Justice. Prior to that, she was senior director of development at US cablenet Style Network.
