USA lights up Big Star

The original UK version of Big Star’s Little Star

USA Network has ordered a local version of ITV Studios format Big Star’s Little Star.

The US show is being produced by ITV Entertainment and means the format has now been sold into 11 countries, including Belgium, Hungary, Russia and South Korea.

It was devised by ITV Studios-owned 12 Yard Productions and will be hosted on USA Network by British presenter Cat Deeley.

The format, which originally aired on ITV in the UK in 2013, sees celebrities and their children put their knowledge of each other to the test to win cash for charity.
