UKTV takes Hollywood to US

Multichannel operator UKTV has commissioned a new cookery show set in the US to be fronted by British celebrity chef and Bake Off star Paul Hollywood.

Paul Goes to Hollywood (5×60’) is being made by UK indie Denham Productions for pay TV network Good Food and will also air on W.

The show was ordered by Vicky Walker, channel director at Good Food and Kirsty Hanson, commissioning editor at UKTV. Tris Payne is the executive producer for Denham.

It sees Hollywood venture across America to take in a host of culinary venues inspired by some of the most iconic movies, such as Pulp Fiction and Saturday Night Fever.

The series is being distributed by Bomanbridge Media and will launch in 2019.
