Ukraine plays German game

German distributor SevenOne International has sold the gameshow format My Man Can to a Ukrainian free-to-air TV network.

1+1 has ordered a local version of the show, which pits four women’s partners against each other in a battle of wits. The show will debut on February 13, airing in both Russian and Ukrainian, depending on the contestants.

SevenOne International, the distribution arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Group, has already sold the rights to produce the format in Spain, Portugal and Latin America to FremantleMedia.

Meanwhile, SevenOne has closed deals for the format with undisclosed partners in France and Italy, and a Chinese version of the show aired in primetime on satellite channel Jiang Su last year.

The original German version, produced by SevenOne sister company Redseven Entertainment, aired on Sat.1.
