Adam Selly was sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court in London on November 4 after he was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault following a week-long trial.

The first victim, aged 20, was sexually assaulted during a photoshoot at Selly’s home in London in January. He then sexually assaulted another woman, aged 23, in similar circumstances a month later.

“Selly targeted two women after he contacted them through his photography website offering a modelling session in his home,” said Detective Constable Sam O’Callaghan of the Metropolitan Police’s Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command.

“The evidence against Selly was strong, which led to the jury finding him guilty of both counts and the sentence handed to him reflects the gravity of both offences and the effect they have had on the victims’ lives.

“Should anyone recognise Selly and believe they have been a victim at his hands, please come forward. We are committed to bringing perpetrators of sexual offences to justice.”

Anyone who wishes to report an offence is asked to contact 101 in the UK.

Selly is the former head of global television at LazyTown distributor LazyTown Entertainment, which was acquired by Turner in 2011. Prior to that he held roles such as senior VP of Asia-Pacific sales at Hit Entertainment and head of sales at now-defunct firm Entertainment Rights.

Selly founded UK-based sales house Union Media in 2012 and represented UK and international animated series on the international market.
