Twofour shops factual Down Under

Broadcasters in Australia and New Zealand have picked up more than 60 hours of factual and lifestyle content from the international distribution arm of UK prodco Twofour.

Australian pay TV platform Foxtel has taken four shows from Twofour Rights including the latest season of The Hotel Inspector, which airs on Channel 5 in the UK and is fronted by third generation hotelier Alex Polizzi.

Another Polizzi show, business format The Fixer, is also included in the package along with culinary series Cooks’ Questions and crime brand Born to Kill.

Meanwhile The Living Channel in New Zealand has taken Secret Interview, which puts eight unknowing participants through an unusual and unforgettable interview process, and Country House Sunday, which looks around some of Britain’s most historic stately homes.

The Living Channel has also secured rights to Cooks’ Questions, as well as fixed-rig documentary Happy Families, which provides an insight into family life.

The channel has also bought Dirty Weekenders, which sees actor Richard E Grant travel Europe with people who spend their time rifling through barns, cowsheds and French farm attics looking for pre-war treasures, as well as James Nesbitt’s Ireland, which follows the actor as he explores his homeland and offers his own personal take on Irish life, culture, history and people.

Sales were brokered by senior sales executive, Holly Hodges.
