TV2 drama chief joins Summit

CONTENT LONDON: The head of drama at Denmark’s TV2 has joined the line-up for the International Drama Summit, which takes place from November 29 to December 1 as part of Content London.

Katrine Vogelsang will join a panel with other international drama heads at the event to discuss the Danish commercial broadcaster’s strategy in the genre, which has recently seen an increase in output.

Vogelsang has held the role since 2011, spearheading the development of series such as Rita, Seaside Hotel and Dicte.

She began her career in the film and television industry as a production assistant on Taxi and later Unit One. In 2005 she graduated from The Danish Film School as a producer, before finding work at DR (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation), where she made her debut as a producer on The Secret of Absalon.

Vogelsang is the latest drama chief to be announced as a speaker for the 2016 Summit. You can find other announced speakers here.
