TV One promotes originals exec

US cabsat network TV One has promoted one of its executives to oversee originals and productions.

Robyn Greene Arrington becomes VP of original programming and production and will be based in New York, reporting to D’Angela Proctor, TV One’s senior VP of original programming and production.

Greene Arrington has been at the general entertainment channel since 2004 and has worked on originals including Hollywood Divas and Unsung Hollywood. She is also working on forthcoming scripted series Born Again Virgin.

Before TV One, Greene Arrington produced content for networks including HBO, Lifetime and A&E.

TV One recently tapped cable industry veteran and former president of Turner Entertainment Networks Bradley Siegel to lead business and creative affairs at the channel.

The network is a joint venture between NBC Universal, DirecTV and African American-focused radio broadcaster Radio One.
