Turner takes directors show

NEWS BRIEF: Turner Broadcasting System Europe has acquired a series about award-winning film directors to air on its TMC (Turner Movie Classics) channel in the UK.

Hollywood’s Best Film Directors (54×26′, HD), from Paris/LA-based Prime Entertainment Group, chronicles the lives of directors including George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola and Milos Forman. The deal was concluded following last week’s LA Screenings.
