US giant Turner and French pay TV operator Canal+ are launching a series-focused channel in France.
Warner TV will be exclusively available to Canal+ subscribers from mid-November and will air original productions from Turner’s TNT, TBS and TruTV channels for a global audience.
Warner TV will be the second channel from Turner group to be added to Canal+, coming two years after the arrival of Toonami.
It will also air series from Warner Bros’ catalogue, with genres spanning drama, action, comedy and thrillers.
Warner TV will further boost Turner’s French portfolio, which already offers movies, news and youth content from TCM Cinéma, CNN International, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Boing and Toonami.
It will be exclusively available as part of the Essentiel Famille package and will also feature in the Free TV Panorama by Canal and Orange Famille by Canal offerings.
Warner TV will launch in France on November 9.
