Turkey’s Elif lands in Asia, CEE

Deepto TV will start airing Elif in 2017

Broadcasters in Asia and Eastern Europe have become the latest to pick up Turkish drama Elif.

Bangladeshi network Deepto TV will start airing the drama in 2017, as will Georgian broadcaster Imedi TV. Distributor Eccho Rights has now sold the show into 16 territories including Chile, where it recently debuted on TVN.

Turkish broadcaster Kanal 7 renewed the family drama for a third season in April. The latest 250×45’ season, produced by Green Yapim, premiered in Turkey in September.

The show tells the story of a family power struggle that begins when a young girl is sent away by her mother to live on a farm.
