Turkey’s Elif goes further in Lat Am

NEWS BRIEF: A Puerto Rican network has picked up Turkish producer Green Yapim’s Elif, which has been extended by several other broadcasters in the Latin American region.

The family drama, which is distributed by Eccho Rights and tells the story of a young girl whose mother sends her away to live on a farm, has been acquired by Wapa TV in Puerto Rico, while Telefuturo (Paraguay), Latina (Peru), TVN (Chile), Caracol (Colombia) and Telefe (Argentina) have extended their deals for the show. It first aired in Lat Am on Caracol in summer 2016.
