TruTV makes Greatest Ever renewal

US cablenet TruTV has renewed its comedic countdown series Greatest Ever for a second run.

New York- and LA-based indie Meetinghouse Productions is working on a second 12×30′ run of the show to premiere in 2017.

The format sees comedian Amanda Seales counting down the do’s and don’ts of situations including family holidays, parenting and travel.

A first season of 18 episodes is currently airing on the Turner-owned net.

Jason Cilo, president of Meetinghouse Productions, said: “We like to think that Meetinghouse specialises in making smart, funny content with its heart in the right place, and as we head toward our 10th anniversary as a company in 2017, we’ve got big plans – both home and abroad – for our original network, online and theatrical content.”
