Tricon adds to factual, kids teams

Canadian producer and distributor Tricon Films & Television has expanded its factual and kids & family divisions with the addition of three new execs.

Dan Miller

Dan Miller has joined as VP of factual development, based in Tricon’s Toronto office, while Cheyanne Dillenberger arrives as director of factual development, based in the company’s LA office.

Executive producer, showrunner and director Miller is a former Powderhouse Productions exec. He has also overseen series such as Going Deep with David Rees for Esquire and National Geographic and All-American Makers for Science Channel.

Dillenberger, meanwhile, was previously director of development for Discovery Studios and has also worked in casting and development at GRB Entertainment, Raw TV and Lion TV.

Also joining Tricon’s Toronto office is Emmy-winning producer Christine Davis. She will work as director of animation production for Tricon Kids & Family, which launched in 2013.
