US kids’ video website Toon Goggles has launched its first app, marking the first time it has become available on mobile devices.
The free Apple iOS app gives users access to Toon Goggles’ content library of more than 500 hours through iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
It has been designed by Digital Media Interactive and allows for streaming through 3G connections as well as Wi-Fi and comes after technology giant Apple launched its third generation high-definition iPad last week.
Toon Goggles launched last year as a child-safe portal that allows children to build their own viewing schedules through personalised web pages. It scored a 240-hour deal with Germany-based kids’ company Your Family Entertainment, earlier this year.
