Toby’s Circus travels on C5

Channel 5 in the UK has ordered more episodes of animated series Toby’s Travelling Circus for its preschool programming block Milkshake.

A second, 52×7′ season will be produced by UK- and US-based Komixx Media Group for the Viacom-owned network, which commissioned the series back in 2011.

The show follows a charismatic seven-year-old boy who is ringmaster of a travelling circus and the first season was picked up by multiple broadcasters around Europe.

It marks the latest order from Channel 5 for Milkshake, which is due to launch Winnie & Wilbur and Milkshake Monkey in September. The second season of Toby’s Travelling Circus will air in autumn 2017.
