TLC takes more Mob Wives for Europe

The second season of VH1 series Mob Wives is heading to Europe on Discovery-owned female-skewing lifestyle channel TLC.

Mob Wives focuses on six women in New York whose husbands and partners have been imprisoned for crimes relating to the mafia.

Having aired the first season, Discovery Networks has now picked up the 17-episode second season to air on TLC in 12 European territories including Benelux, Scandinavia, Poland, Romania and Russia.

The series will also air on Discovery’s free-to-air female channel Real Time in Italy and on DMax in the UK.

The programme was created and is executive produced by Jennifer Graziano of JustJenn Productions and is produced by The Weinstein Company, Electus and Left/Right. The Discovery deal was struck by The Weinstein Company and Electus, which hold the distribution rights across all platforms.
