TLC puts on Second Chance Dresses

Discovery-owned lifestyle network TLC in the UK has ordered its latest wedding-themed show,with former Love Island contestant Olivia Buckland as host.

Second Chance Dresses (22×30’) is produced by Endemol Shine North and was ordered by Clare Laycock, VP and head of channels at TLC.

Charlotte Reid, director of television and executive producer at Discovery, and Coral Lawson, executive producer at Endemol Shine North, will oversee the project.

The series follows the engaged Buckland as she helps other British brides-to-be track down the second-hand dresses of their dreams, while also telling the stories behind the used garments.

It will air as part of TLC’s Friday Brideday theme night. Second Chance Dresses follows other similarly themed commissions Say Yes to the Dress UK, Curvy Brides Boutique and Say Yes to the Vegas Dress.
