TLC puts ex-wives in spotlight

US cablenet TLC has commissioned a series about seven women and the support they offered their former husbands and boyfriends on their journeys to stardom.

Starter Wives (working title, 4×60′) is produced by Nola for female-skewing TLC and will air in early 2013.

The women featured include Josie Harris, the ex-girlfriend of boxer Floyd Mayweather and mother of his three children, and 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.
