Tia and Tamera ends E! run

Reality series Tia and Tamera will not be returning to US cablenet E! for a fourth season, the show’s stars have announced.

The series, produced by LA-based Good Clean Fun, initially aired on Style Network, premiering in 2011.

Following NBCUniversal’s decision to rebrand that channel as male-skewing Esquire the programme moved to E! in October.

The series followed the adult lives of Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley, the former child stars of ABC series Sister Sister.

In a series of tweets Tamera confirmed that the show would not be returning. She will now focus on her syndicated Fox talkshow The Real while Tia is working on a second season of Instant Mom for Nickelodeon.

Mowry-Housley said: “Tia and I decided it was time to live our family lives behind the cameras.”
