The modern version of the classic kids’ series is produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures in association with Weta Workshop and combines CGI animation with live-action miniatures.

Aimed at a global audience of five- to 11-year-olds, Thunderbirds Are Go is being sold internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Tohokushinsha introduced the original Thunderbirds show to the Japanese market in 1966, while the remake made its debut on ITV and CITV in the UK and Nine Network’s GO! channel in Australia in April.
