The Voice to Ecuador

NATPE: Talent format The Voice is going into local production in Ecuador for the first time, after distributor Talpa Global struck a deal with broadcaster Teleamazonas.

The show will air this year and comes soon after the format was licensed to Canal 13 in Chile and renewed for a fifth season by Televisa in Mexico.

The Dutch format has also been okayed for a fourth run by Globo in Brazil, a third season by Caracol in Colombia and a third by Latina TV in Peru.
