The CW enters LA Complex

US mini-network The CW has sealed its deal for LA Complex, and will air the Canadian-made teen soap this spring.

Following word last week that it was circling the series – about young performers trying to make it big in Hollywood – the US network confirmed today it has picked up its first 6×60′ season.

“For so many years, we’ve been working with young Canadian actors who venture to LA for pilot season, some of whom have even landed series on The CW. To tell stories like theirs is so much fun,” said Linda Schuyler, executive producer of the show and CEO of production house Epitome Pictures (Degrassi).

LA Complex premieres today on Canada’s CTV and its Much Music sibling. It is executive produced, written and directed by Martin Gero (Bored To Death, Young People Fucking).
