Tencent limbers up for Drone Race

The Amazing Drone Race is produced by Zoomin.TV

Chinese streamer Tencent has ordered a longform series covering drone racing around the world and aimed at Gen Z viewers.

The Amazing Drone Race (6×25’) is produced by Dutch digital content company Zoomin.TV and was filmed in China as well as international locations.

The programme showcases the drone races and their picturesque backdrops, culminating with an expedition to the Erta Ale volcano in Ethiopia, commonly known as the ‘gateway to Hell.’

Tencent and Zoomin have linked up on multiple shortform projects targeting Chinese Gen Z viewers in the past year.
