Temple Street adds scripted execs

The Canadian prodco behind drama series Orphan Black has added a Bell Media veteran and a seasoned production executive to its creative team.

Temple Street Productions has brought in Trish Williams as VP of scripted programming and Lesley Grant as senior development producer of scripted programming.

Williams, most recently co-executive producer on CTV drama Saving Hope, had a stint as director of drama in Bell Media’s independent production unit.

During that spell she oversaw the development and production of original Canadian series across Bell Media channels such as CTV, Space, Bravo and TMN, including the launch of Temple Street’s Orphan Black.

At Temple Street, Williams will focus on the company’s slate of international programming, growing premium content within scripted entertainment. She will also oversee the critically acclaimed series

Killjoys, which airs on Space and US channel Syfy.

Grant joins with a focus on new development projects and overseeing the X Company arm. She brings 15 years of experience to role, including stints as a drama production executive at CTV and as drama development executive at CBC.

Both Williams and Grant will report to Kerry Appleyard, senior VP of scripted programming.

In related news, Laura Notarianni has been promoted to senior director of scripted programming at Temple Street.
