Televisa USA has hired Jonathan South as director of sales, worldwide, poaching the exec from European OTT service Magine, which he joined from A+E in 2013.

The company has also created the role of director of scripted development, appointing David Sigurani to oversee Televisa USA’s part in coproductions such as Lifetime’s Devious Maids.

Sigurani joins from production and development posts at a joint venture between Lionsgate and Televisa and previously Cutler Productions and Prospect Park.

South and Sigurani will report to Chris Philip, head of production and distribution for Televisa USA, which is responsible for English-language programming at the Mexican company.
