Telemundo ties down Bracamontes

NBCUniversal (NBCU)-backed Telemundo in the US has agreed a multi-project deal with Latin American TV host and actor Jacqueline Bracamontes.

The arrangement will see the US Hispanic-focused broadcaster producing a variety of shows with Bracamontes, with the star set to both host shows and return to acting.

Her first project with the network will be to host primetime sports and entertainment show Viva el Mundial y Más, which premieres on June 14.

Bracamontes, known best as Jacky, has starred in an array of telenovelas and hosted multiple Spanish-language shows, including the Latin Grammy Awards. She was also a judge on La Voz México (The Voice Mexico) for five seasons.
