TBS clips barbershop comedy

US cablenet TBS has axed multi-camera comedy Clipped as the channel continues its revamp under recently appointed boss Kevin Reilly.

The workplace comedy from Warner Horizon was created by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. It stars Ashley Tisdale and Micke Castle.

Clipped premiered in June but has now been cancelled alongside fellow TBS scripted shows King of the Nerds and Ground Floor, which were scrapped following Reilly’s appointment in November.

Reilly said he wanted to focus on digital content and socially driven shows, with series on its existing slate including the Rashida Jones-starring Tribeca and 10-part comedy Wrecked.
