Talpa dances with Thai web platform

Talpa format Dance Dance Dance

An online platform in Thailand has picked up Netherlands-based Talpa Media’s Dance Dance Dance format.

The show has been acquired by Bangkok-based TV Thunder for broadcast on online service Line TV in Thailand. It will consist of eight weekly episodes and will include the use of augmented reality technology, according to Talpa.

The format sees contestants attempting to re-enact famous routines while new technology recreates the original setting of the performances.

Line TV is the online video platform owned by Line, one of the largest chat services in Asia. It features a range of TV shows and music videos.

Dance Dance Dance launched at Mipcom 2015 and has aired on RTL in Germany, Fox Life in Italy and ITV in the UK, as well as original broadcaster RTL4 in the Netherlands.
