Syfy orders Damon, Affleck thriller

US cablenet Syfy has ordered a 13-part futuristic drama from exec producers and Academy Award-winning writers Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Incorporated was created by David and Alex Pastor, who wrote and directed the pilot episode, which was picked up in April last year. NBCUniversal-owned Syfy will premiere the series this fall.

Damon and Affleck’s Pearl Street Films will produce the drama along with CBS Television Studios and Syfy’s sister studio Universal Cable Productions.

The thriller follows a young executive who conceals his true identity to infiltrate a dangerous corporate world to save the woman he loves.

Lifelong friends Damon and Affleck, who regularly star in, write and direct in their own movies, won the 1997 Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Good Will Hunting.
