Syfy has another Face Off

US cablenet Syfy has renewed its reality competition series Face Off, its highest rated programme in 2012, for a fifth season.

A 10-episode run of the show has been ordered for a summer 2013 premiere. Face Off is currently in its fourth season on Syfy in the US, where it is averaging 1.6 million viewers aged 18-19.

The show, exec produced by Derek Atherton, Dwight D Smith and Michael Agbabian of Mission Control Media, sees special effects make-up artists compete for a cash prize.
