Syco, Animal Logic bolster ties

Simon Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and Australian animation studio Animal Logic Entertainment have agreed a new multi-project partnership to produce animated content.

The agreement will see the two firms create and develop music-based animated and live-action shows and other multimedia content in a bid to “create the next generation of family films.”

The new partnership builds on a number of existing projects between the two firms, which include an animated music-based film due for release in 2016.

Animal Logic has previously produced Happy Feet and The Lego Movie while Syco will use their expertise creating musical-themed shows such as The X Factor.
