Superights names Pinguet as sales chief

The distribution arm of French firm Superprod has appointed a new deputy general manager following Morgann Favennec’s move to Xilam Animation.

Nathalie Pinguet has joined Superights having previously served as deputy director of the youth programming unit and deputy head of programming at French broadcaster TF1.

The exec, who will oversee sales and acquisitions at Superights as well as marketing and communications, began her career at advertising agency Carat before joining TF1 in 2012.

Favennec’s departure was announced last month. The former director of M6’s kids’ programming set up Superights as the international sales arm of Superprod in 2013.

It distributes children’s series including Pat the Dog, Puffin Rock, Anna & Froga, Boyster and Emmy & GooRoo.
