Super Channel picks Apple Tree Yard

Super Channel in Canada has acquired UK drama Apple Tree Yard from FremantleMedia International.

The four-part psychological thriller will premiere in Canada on November 19, having aired in the UK on BBC1 at the beginning of the year. It was produced by Endemol Shine-owned Kudos (Humans, Broadchurch).

The show is based on the novel of the same name by Louise Doughty and stars Oscar-nominated Emily Watson as an eminent geneticist who is accused of complicity in a violent crime.

Each episode will also be available to viewers on Super Channel On Demand the day following its weekly linear broadcast.
