SundanceTV takes Acceptable Risk

SundanceTV has picked up a six-part drama thriller series due to premiere on Irish broadcaster RTÉ for its global channels.

Acceptable Risk (6×60’) is being distributed by DCD Rights, which will launch the series at MipTV in Cannes next month.

SundanceTV has secured a multi-territory deal for the show in advance and will now air it on its channel in Central and Eastern Europe, Dutch-speaking Benelux, Iberia, Latin America, MENA, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The series is a transatlantic coproduction involving Saffron Moon, Facet4Media and Acorn Media for RTÉ, which will air it later this year.

The plot focuses on a woman who realises how little she knew about her husband prior to his murder and stars Elaine Cassidy (No Offence).
