SundanceTV renews Rectify

AMC Networks’ SundanceTV has greenlit a third season of Rectify, its first wholly owned drama series, ahead of the show’s second-season finale on Thursday.

The channel has given the drama, about a former death row inmate who is released after 19 years thanks to a DNA breakthrough in his case, another run of 6×60′ episodes.

The series is produced by Gran Via Productions and executive produced by Oscar-winning creator and writer Ray McKinnon and Breaking Bad producers Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein.
