Suits gets Spanish translation

Hispanic cable network NBC Universo is to air legal drama Suits dubbed into Spanish on US television for the first time.

Suits is on its fifth season on USA

Suits follows a law associate who works for a hotshot lawyer despite never actually attending law school.

Produced by Universal Cable Productions, the drama debuted on NBC-owned USA Network in 2011 and is now in its fifth season.

The series, which stars Latina actress Gina Torres, will make its primetime debut on NBC Universo, formerly known as Mun2, on July 7.

NBC Universo subscribers will also be able to view episodes of Suits in Spanish on-demand on nbcuniverso.com and via the NBC Universo NOW app.

The sports and entertainment cable channel for Latinos appointed former Discovery Communications exec Bilai Joa Silar as its senior VP of programming and production in April.
