STV secures biggest BBC commission

STV Productions in Scotland has received its biggest ever commission from the BBC, after the pubcaster made an extended order for Antiques Road Trip.

The BBC has ordered a further four seasons of the long-running BBC1 antiques show, as well as a seventh season of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip for BBC2.

STV will produce seasons 15 to 18 (80×45′) of Antiques Road Trip for broadcast over the next two years. The 14th season, which aired in January, reached more than 16 million people across the UK, according to STV.
