Studio 100, Planeta Junior strike alliance

M4E’s children’s show Mia & Me

Studio 100 Media, the German arm of Belgian children’s firm Studio 100, has signed a distribution and coproduction agreement with Planeta Junior in Spain.

The agreement expands on the existing partnership between the companies, who will collaborate on five new productions being made by Studio 100 Media and its German IP owner M4E, as well as two from Planeta Junior.

Planeta Junior will also get exclusive distribution rights to M4E’s children’s series Mia & Me in certain territories in Southern and Eastern Europe, including Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.

In return, Studio 100 Media and M4E will take over the distribution rights for action-comedy series Gormiti in Benelux, German-speaking Europe, Scandinavia, Africa and the Middle East.

The new series is currently in production and scheduled for delivery this year, with Planeta Junior as coproducer.
