US cablenet Starz is preparing to air a documentary about the conflict in Syria exec produced by former The Daily Show host Jon Stewart.
After Spring will make its US debut on February 10 at 21.00 ET/PT and tells the personal stories of Syrian refugees and aid workers at the Zaatari Refugee Camp, home to 80,000 people.
More than 50% of the camp’s inhabitants are under 18 years old and over 5,000 babies have been born there since it opened in July 2012.
Stewart executive produces with Chris McShane, while Steph Ching (Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon) and Ellen Martinez (Tested) direct and produce. After Spring made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and won the Audience Award at the New Orleans Film Festival 2016.
