Starz promotes programming execs

US cablenet Starz has promoted three executives working across the firm’s programme planning, branded digital content and on-demand services.

Scott Barton, Amy Kline and Eric Neal have all been upped and will be based at the channel’s Denver offices, reporting to Dave Baldwin, exec VP of programme planning.

Barton has been promoted to senior VP of branded digital content and products, while Kline will be senior VP of programming operations/quality control, and Neal will serve as senior VP of programme planning.

Barton had been VP of digital and on-demand programming since 2012 and will oversee programming and product vision in on demand, online, digital and consumer-facing video products and platforms.

Meanwhile, Kline has been VP of programming operations since 2008. She will now be responsible for content trafficking for 17 Starz, Encore and Movieplex, as well as quality control, closed captioning and worldwide distribution.

Neal has been with Starz since 2003 and was most recently VP of programme inventory and planning. In his new role, he will oversee teams for programme scheduling, promotion planning and scheduling.
