^[1]NEWS BRIEF: Sony Pictures TV International has upped Janet Tsai Dargan to senior VP of business development, overseeing planning and new business initiatives for SPTI’s distribution, international networks and international production.

Christoph Pachler, SPTI’s senior VP and chief financial officer, said Dargan’s contributions to the company’s channel strategies in India and Russia, as well as Sony’s bid to acquire 2waytraffic, have made her “a key player” in the expansion of SPTI’s business.
