Spike’s Ink Master renewed, gets spin-off

Ink Master’s ninth run airs this summer

US cablenet Spike TV has commissioned Truly Original to make a 10th season of its tattoo competition series Ink Master and has also greenlit a spin-off.

Ink Master Angels (1×60’) will focus on four of the top female competitors from season eight of Ink Master, who will travel the country going head to head with some of the most talented tattoo artists in the US in a variety of challenges.

The special will air later this year, with the 16×60’ 10th run of the main show due to premiere in 2018 following Spike’s rebrand as the Paramount Network.

Season nine of Ink Master, produced by Truly Original, which is part of Endemol Shine North America, will air this June on the Viacom-owned channel.
