Sony Pictures Television Networks has picked up Entertainment One (eOne)’s animated series PJ Masks for its children’s channel in the UK.

Tiny Pop will be the preschool show’s free-to-air broadcaster in the UK from February 25. The show currently airs on Disney Junior on pay TV in the UK, where it debuted last February.

The series is adapted from French author Romuald Racioppo’s picture book series Les Pyjamasques and follows the exploits of a group of young friends who transform into superheroes when they put on their pyjamas.

It is produced by eOne and eOne Family MD Oliver Dumont’s kids’ company Frog Box, in collaboration with Disney Junior and France 5. It was commissioned for a second season in June.
