Sony catch-up offer joins YouView

US entertainment company Sony Pictures Television have debuted a new catch-up service on YouView in the UK.

Series including Power Rangers will be available on Sony Kids

The service, called Sony Kids, started this week and contains a wide selection of Sony’s children’s channels.

Popular shows available include Power Rangers, Dino Super Charge and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The target demographic is children aged between four and 10.

It is free to use across all YouView connected devices including TalkTalk TV and BT TV homes.

Sony Kids provides seven days of playback, allowing for the re-watching of episodes a week after their broadcast.

David Faulkner, head of corporate and business development on YouView, said: “We strive to offer content for all ages as well as families, and Sony Kids helps to grow our offering.”
