Smyth upped at 20th Century

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution has promoted David Smyth to the role of senior VP of sales and development.

London-based Smyth, previously VP of sales, will work with Twentieth Century Fox production execs to explore coproduction opportunities for original content to air in the US and worldwide.

As well his new responsibilities, he will continue to license Twentieth Century’s programming slate in the Netherlands, Scandinavia and Eastern European territories, reporting to Mark Kaner, president of of the company.

Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution is the exclusive distributor for all Fox-produced or -acquired programming.
