Slasher makes the cut in UK

Slasher was made for Super Channel and cablenet Chiller

Pick, the UK free-to-air channel operated by European satcaster Sky, has acquired US horror thriller Slasher.

The 8×60′ series was originally produced by Shaftesbury for Canadian network Super Channel and US cablenet Chiller.

It will now make its UK debut on Tuesday May 10 at 22.00 following a deal with distributor Content Television.

The show follows a woman, played by Katie McGrath, after she moves back to the town in which her parents were murdered in 1988 only to find a new killer is punishing residents for committing the seven deadly sins.

It’s the fourth acquisition by Pick following Siberia, Z-Nation and South of Hell.
